Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in Tanzania, you have the flexibility to arrive at any time. Our team will warmly welcome you at the airport and provide a private transfer to a comfortable Lodge in Arusha. In the evening, join us for a comprehensive safari briefing and equipment check. We will also ensure that you possess the necessary mandatory medical coverage and travel insurance. This marks the start of your remarkable adventure in Tanzania.
Embark on a captivating journey to Longido and engage with its cultural tourism program. Immerse yourself in the lives of the Maasai people as you visit the local tribes and learn about their unique way of life. Later, return to Arusha and enjoy an overnight stay at a Lodge with half board amenities. Unveil the vibrant cultural tapestry of Longido and the enriching experiences it holds.
After breakfast, transfer to Tarangire with packed lunch. This 3000 sq km park is famed for elephants and baobabs. The Tarangire River sustains wildlife, drawing over 2000 elephants and 500 bird species. Ideal in the dry season (June – November), when concentrations match Serengeti’s. Head to Karatu to explore the Sandemu Iraqi cultural center. The Iraqi, also called Wambulu, trace their origins to the Nile River, speaking the Nilotic language. Enjoy an overnight stay at Marera Campsite with full board arrangements. Immerse yourself in this cultural encounter in Karatu.
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. It’s home to around three million large animals, many partaking in a seasonal migration—one of nature’s marvels. Encompassing 14,763 sq km, Serengeti’s name means “endless plains” in Maasai. Enjoy a game drive en route. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite (full board). Half-day Serengeti game drive, then lunch. Drive to Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Spot resident lion prides within an hour’s drive from Seronera. In dry season, lions shift west for prime viewing. After breakfast, descend into Crater for game drive with picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater, an eighth natural wonder, is Earth’s largest intact caldera.
